We are excited to convey information regarding a new victory achieved for one of our clients in a case aimed at canceling the entry ban into Romania.
A client of our office, domiciled in Kosovo, was met with a decision to prohibit the right to enter the territory of Romania for a period of 5 years, without attempting to clarify the factual situation. This resulted in rejections of visa applications in other European countries.
Our client was subjected to criminal prosecution for an alleged fraudulent crossing of the state border. The General Inspectorate of Border Police issued the ban without a final decision establishing the commission of any offense.
Following the efforts made by the Arsulescu & Associates team, the Court deemed our legal arguments relevant. The decision to prohibit entry for 5 years was canceled, and our client can continue to travel within Schengen territory.
